North America PRI settings:

signalling = PRI_CPE
encoding = b8zs
framing = esf
bchan = 1-23
dchan = 24
DNIS = 10 digits
What you need before you install a PRI
1. A "cut sheet" from your carrier. This is typically a piece of paper with the configuration information of the PRI listed. Please obtain a cut sheet from your carrier before you attempt to install a audiocodes PRI and before you contact our support team.
2. A physical connection between the Smart Jack (owned by the carrier) and your (CPE) customer promise equipment which is the Audiocodes . Every Audiocodes PRI is shipped with the proper cables. For reference - you will be using a cross-over cable.
3. "Loopback Adapter". We always ship all systems with this adapter in the "accessories" box. If you have lost or misplaced the loop-back adaptor you can buy one at Radio Shack for a few dollars. The loop-back adaptor tests to make sure the audiocodes PRI is installed and configured correctly.
