Adtran Configuration TA 624

The current Adtran MGCP software load is D.05.06.00. This is for 3rd Gen gateways. The binary file is AD050600.BIN. Always check the Adtran web-site for newer releases.

To load the MGCP software the gateway must have a valid IP address, subnet mask, and default gateway (if needed). The default IP address is 10.0.0.1 and the default mask is 255.255.255.0. Add a second IP address of 10.0.0.2 to your PC. Make sure the file you are loading is in the TFTP server's root directory.

Hit the left arrow key twice. The gateway will reboot and your connection
will be lost. Do not turn off the gateway to do so will cause the last
IP change to be lost. Add an IP address on the PC that is a member of
the new IP subnet. Telnet back into the gateway using the new
username/password and IP address. Enter a ^W to save the the last changes
made. Move gateway to test site. Claim gateway, setting settings and test
each port.
